Devices that I use... Pretty much on the daily, or at at times, or every so often... Pretty much.
These devices are... well... ones I have to plug into an electrical outlet on a wall for it to work.
I Bought this PC sometime back, and recieved it in June, about two to three days before PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 would get the NEW GENESIS expansion. And since then, I've been using it. Originally it had 8GB RAM, with one RAM stick. Now it currently has 16GB RAM. It came with Windows 10, buuut, cause of certain things, I upgraded it to Windows 11. However, I currently do regret it, but I am trying to block every bloat I can, including, but not limited to, Copilot. However, it still exists in the PC, sadly.
In terms of GPU, it currently uses an RTX 3060, which originally came from a completely different Pre-built PC. The PC itself originally had a GTX 960.
I'm using two 5:4 monitors, one Dell and one HP Compaq, for display reasons. Hey. It works, at least. However, due to a lack of display adapters, I'm down to only using the HP Compaq, while the Dell is a backup at the moment.
I'm also using a keyboard, which glows green when Scroll Lock is on, and a mouse... which also glows green. Both of them are USB. However, the mouse.... has an issue. The middle mouse click doesn't work anymore. o.o Go figure.
I also have an External HDD for things like games.... and documents and projects... I don't trust SSDs very much, cause of their limited writing cycles.
What? I still have this since I first got it. Though it is showing its age. I also have a Blue PS2 and a Green PS1 Memory Card to play my PS1 and PS2 games on real hardware. Sadly, I do not have a way to upscale the image, so it's connected to a CRT TV. I don't have the silver controller it came with it anymore, but I do have a... Mad Catz.... controller... THIS IS NOT A GOOD REPLACEMENT!!!!
Yes.... I have a CRT TV...... With a built in VCR. Though, I think the VCR is busted. It's gonna be a great backup, in case my current main TV ever kicks the bucket. If I use this as a main TV, then I definitely gotta get HDMI to Composite converters. Also be ready to squint at my Television.
Yup... I have a TV that's not a Smart TV. And it's a Sony Bravia TV. It has two HDMI ports, a PC.... VGA Port,a composite port, or two, and a few component ports. If I plug my antenna into it, I can watch TV for free, and without the need to have a monthly service to even watch television. HAH! TAKE THAT SATELLITE CABLE COMPANIES!
Ah yes... My PS3. Originally, I had a White Super Slim model, but now I have a Slim PS3 model. Me and my dad did a trade of PS3 models. So now he has the Super Slim model, and I have the PS3 I have today. Ehh... One of these days I'm going to get more games for it.
The PS3 is not modded at all, mainly cause my online account's on it, and I'd much rather not take a risk of a ban because of it.
Yup... I have a PS4. Kinda disappointed that the PS4 doesn't have free Online Multiplayer, unless it's a free-to-play game. But other than that, it's still a interesting console.
Like the PS3 Slim, it's not moded. And unlike the PS3 Slim, I can't fit very many games on it. It's like every game company forgot how to compress stuff. O.o
What? You thought the Steam Link was only a software? Welp... Time to surprise ya!
You see... I got this Steam Link in a bundle. ICEY Bundle. This bundle came with the digital game, ICEY, and the Steam Link Hardware. Surprising how a purchase of a game, bundled with a Steam Link for $1 would bring...
I still use this from time to time. I can play my games on my TV instead of my PC for once. And... surprisingly... they still update it. So that's great!
I guess this was coming. But yeah. I have an SNES Classic. I play it. It's not modded, and I'm quite happy with the library it gives me. Sure. I wish some more games were on there, but I'm quite satisfied with what it brings. Now I wish it came with an actual power cord. O.o
It's.... It's a dock for a Nintendo Switch console... Self explanatory.
I have a second CRT TV, just sitting around. It's not in use, yet, and will be used as a backup for something else.
I can bring these around if I want. These electronic devices normally have a battery.
This laptop has been with me through thick and thin. Originally given to me as a high school graduation present, The Acer Aspire 4730z is old, but still my best laptop at the moment. It's quite outdated, and my PC blows it out of the water by a GREAT LANDSLIDE nowadays, but I do go back to this thing from time to time.
I used to experiment with it, from it having Windows 7 to Windows 8, to Ubuntu (back when it was using whatever Unity was), to Windows 10.... to a few Linux Distros (Zorin OS, Ubuntu, Linux Mint), to Windows 10 again, to Windows 7 again, back to Linux (Arch Linux at the time), and now back to Windows 7 for a third time. And I think it'll stay with Windows 7 this time around. No more trying to make it better for now. I'm gonna use Legacy Update to get all the updates into it. I blame Arch Linux install errors lately.
Well... Not sure if the Dell is newer than the Acer, but by the way the Dell still has a Windows XP product key, I'm gonna say that this is lesser than my Acer.
Originally, I got this laptop when it had Windows 10 installed on it. HOW?! HOW IN THE WORLD DOES IT HAVE WINDOWS 10 ON IT????!!!??!! Before Windows 10 ended in support, and because Windows 10 is the sole reason why it's struggling, I managed to reformatt it to Windows XP. That way, I don't have to rely on Windows XP Mode on my Acer anymore.
I recently raised this back from its eternal slumber. A Chromebook. Really. I never used one before, so having one will give me a reason to try it out. And so far, Everything's fine. The track pad could use work, though. And by the looks at how it's running, I'm guessing it's on par with my acer, in terms of its performance. At least the battery ain't shot in this one.
Funny enough, as I keep using it, it might become my daily laptop, mainly cause of how light it is and how snappier it is compared to my Acer Aspire laptop.
This one.... I have no idea what this one is... However, it still seems to run, so...
This laptop... is actually an android that's been modified to be a laptop. I don't quite understand it. It's... a bit slow for a laptop. So I hardly use it. Who knows. I might use it again. But then again... It's pretty much an equivalent of an android tablet. Just without the tablet bit, and has a track pad and keyboard. Did I also mention it's slow?
This was coming. Yeah. I have a Nintendo Switch console. This console does a lot. It's a hybrid, which is why it's in the Portable Devices Category. I can't put this in any other category other than that, and I have two categories on this page.
I have Joycons, that came with the Switch. It's my currently primary way of playing all the games. These joycons come with strap attachments, and one thing that looks like a game controller layout, although it's a little iffy. I used to have a 3rd party controller, but... Stick Drift and eventually the USB cord not working much anymore caused its early downfall.
This 2DS is still working... kinda. But it's fun to go back to it at times. Like my other consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, it's not modded. Doesn't have anything modded on it. I don't mod my consoles normally, so there. That and I don't wanna risk getting banned.
Yeah... I don't remember what this is called, but it's a thing. Obviously, this is a little portable handheld, which can also be plugged into a TV, or I can have headphones on, to... basically play a bunch of games in one. It's battery powered, and by battery powered I mean old style battery powered, and... it does what it says it does. Has a lot of games, though some of the assets seem to be... on the stolen side. I noticed the Jump Rope game had Pokémon sprites. One of them is obviously Dawn.
Oh. I almost forgotten about.... my phone. Eheheh....
So my phone, is more of a hand me down. Before, I had a LG Phoenix 5 phone, I think, but the screen cracked cause I accidentally dropped it, so now I have this phone, which originally was my dad's. It's better than my phone, though. Wow. o.o
I do calls, use some apps, text, etc. Pretty much whatever I can do with it, I'll do whatever with it.
Other than that... I hardly play it. But when I do... I guess I was bored enough to.
Augh!!!! This is not a good replacement for my old PS2 controller! Never get this. Though the controller look is fine, the fact that the directional buttons is hard to press is enough for me to actually buy a replacement Dualshock 2 controller. By the way, this controller is supposed to be a replacement for the Dualshock 2 controller that broke. It's a terrible replacement, don't buy Mad Cats products pre-bankruptcy.
Yup. A PS3 controller. The official one. Meant, mainly, for my PS3. I've been using it for my PC lately. Surprisingly, some games support it. Though when I use it via, DS4 Windows, or Steam's Steam Input, sometimes it acts like it drifts, though that normally is never the case with DirectInput.
Self Explanatory, but yes. Joycons. Came with my Nintendo Switch, and they still work to this day. Glad I still have them. Imagine playing Fire Red and Leaf Green without a controller.
It's needed for my PS4, obviously. These controllers are not as durable as the Dualshock 3, for some reason. The current one I have has its Up and Down directional buttons worn out, and odd feeling. And the X button is also worn out too. I gotta buy a replacement. Darn it. They really need to make these things way more durable, cuase I don't think making them less durable than the last generation's controllers is a great way to cover manufacturing costs.
I have two of these, cause these come with the SNES Classic. They can only be used with the SNES Classic, however... Unless I get a Wii or WiiU, along with a Wii controller.
I just got this recently. And I have had no problems with it. The ESM-9110 Wireless Gaming Controller by the company, EasySMX, is a wireless gaming controller compatible with Windows (Windows 7 - 11), PlayStation 3 (Surprisingly), Nintendo Switch (DOUBLE SURPRISINGLY), Android devices (As long as you have an OTG adapter, whatever that is), and Whatever TV box supports gamepads I guess. On the surface, it's nothing too radical, at least in appearence. It looks cool, but when I start using it, it lights up and LEDs determine some things, I have no idea.
I am quite surprised on this controller's support for PS3 and Nintendo Switch consoles. Especially the PS3. Since the face buttons are Xbox Format, which seems to be the norm for PC, I'm quite surprised that it works on the other two consoles. Curious as to why Xbox is not supported, but I don't have an Xbox console, so... Crud.
On PC, it has both Xinput, and Direct Input. Not sure what the difference is, but Xinput seems to more be the norm. So I stuck with that on PC.
On PS3, I can use is as a PS3 controller, with the exception of the Sixaxis gyro. Though surprisingly, the right analog stick, at least, is very... high in sensitivity, so you may have to turn that down somewhat.
On Nintendo Switch, as long as I have a Pro Controller Wired communications on, I can use this when my Switch is docked. However, The A and B buttons are swapped, as well as the X and Y buttons are swapped. Think Nintendo Controller layout with this one.
It comes with a wireless dongle, but I can also use it with the supplied USB cord as well, though I usually just let it charge at that point.
All in all, despite it's cheap price, the controller is pretty nice, and functional. Has a lot of stuff packed into it, including 4 back buttons (M1, M2, M3, and M4), as well as a way to control its vibrations and brightness of the lights. Yes. It lights up. And that's cool. If you do get one for yourself, keep the manual handy. Cause you're probably gonna need it.
