I am a child-at-heart gamer who enjoys older games, than new ones. When I was a kid I played a lot of games, from the NES to PS1. Today, I still play games, and act way younger than I should be, but that's what's keeping me active and alive, even if I feel like that one Murtah guy from Lethal Weapon. You know. The guy that says "I'm getting too old for this $%@&."
Anyway, Yeah. I guess I'll have to start from the beginning... Or as much of the beginning as I remember...
I was born in South Bend, Indiana... in the United States of America. Back then, Well... Let's just say I don't remember much. Except my brother, who I'm going to call Rai for this About Me Page, was born a month, few days, and a couple of weeks after me. Since then, me and Rai, with our parents, lived in this one small house, that's now a parking lot today for some unknown reason (not sure why), and pretty much lived there for a long time. I don't remember much about the place, but I do remember having an NES at that time. Sadly, it's gone, probably broken, yet we have the games. O.o
Sometime after, we moved into a new place, where we stayed at for a while, then moved to a trailer. Of course, this is where the PS1 generation hit full swing with my dad. I remember watching him play a lot of games. Games like Final Fantasy VII, Parasite Eve, Gran Turismo 2, etc. I also watched him play games, like Baldur's Gate, Starcraft, and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 on PC. Though I think he only had a Windows 98 Second Edition PC at that time.
Though my dad wasn't the only one that did games. I also did some gaming, with Gran Turismo 2, the Game of Life (PS1 version), which was based on the board game during that time, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest 2, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Pokémon Yellow - Special Pikachu Edition, Midway's Arcade Classics (Spy Hunter and Moon Patrol) on the Game Boy, and Pokémon Pinball. I was little, and I only had a limited amount of time. But I also did some stupid stuff back then too. So I'm not going into a lot of details. Anyway...
Outside of gaming, during my time in the trailer, I mostly stuck to the local Channel 4, which is now CBS4 today. Back then it was called WB4. They were affiliated with The WB TV network back then, and I believe 23 was UPN, at the time. On the WB, there was also this section called Kids WB, which shown cartoons and such for kids. It was at this time I watched many shows like, Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, This one series about this one robot, that I forgot, that can shapeshift to disquise itself, and has a human lady with the bot... I forgot the title, but that was also a cartoon, Men in Black (The Cartoon, though I have watched the movie), Batman Beyond, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Cardcaptor Sakura (Which was called Cardcaptors during that time).
After a few years, we moved again. This time... in a two story house, where I would also meet some childhood friends, who lived nearby at the time. I still watched the cartoons I watch on Channel 4, though my dad would eventually have Cable, not that it worked for all the TVs in the house. There were a lot of TVs in the house. And one Black and White one. I was able to watch Channels 4 and 23. Cool. I can continue watching Kids WB when it came on.
And sometime later, my dad would get his first PS2. With it, I played... pretty much all the Ratchet & Clank games, that weren't the Ports of the PSP games, some more Gran Turismo with Gran Turismo 3 and 4, and a few PS2 demos. Sadly, Something... terrible happened, and I'm going to skip through that.
After an incident, that I am not going to mention, happened, Rai was in the hospital for a while, I got to live with my grandmother, from my dad's side, for a while before living in a two story house, with my dad not joining in cause... some legal stuff, buuuuut.... it was split into pretty much an apartment... for some reason. Ehh... Nothing really much changed, Rai eventually got out of the hospital, and we got some Nintendo 64 games in our belt. Games like Mario Party, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, and... Cruisin' USA for the Nintendo 64. o.o It was... something. We also played some more demos, mostly from the PS1 era, and played the two Lunar PS1 games. I liked these games.
After certain things were resolved, followed by another separation from this time both my parents, which were resolved before a Christmas, we lived where my dad was hanging out in, and holy cow... This is where I started to discover RPG Maker, as well as play games that my dad has, such as Starcraft, The Sims (with the Hot Date expansion), Baldur's Gate, etc. I also discovered RPG Maker, starting with RPG Maker XP, on that same shared PC. It was a day. O.o Of course... Things don't last forever, so we moved into ANOTHER place, but nearby. Another two story house. Though this time me and my brothers shared the same room. That was something. o.o I also had a bunk bed, where the bottom bunk isn't even a bottom bunk. It was a desk! Me, and my brothers, both Rai and Hiro, as I'm going to call my youngest brother for this About Me page, all used that desk and pretty much shared the same PC. Until Rai got his own, then it was just me and Hiro sharing a PC. Darn. I did get a PS2, and played some more games on my own time. :3 I also had to share with both my brothers, however.
My dad, even before we moved to a nearby house in the same city, did get a PS3. It wasn't a slim model, but it also wasn't a launch model either. And back then, the PS3 was just as expensive back then, as how expensive the PS5 currently is. On the PS3, I played quite a bit of games that go around. HOLY COW. O.o SoulCalibur IV (Demo), Ratchet & Clank Future saga, etc. I also played around with a PSP that my younger brother, Rai, earned himself.
Of course, outside of gaming, I would learn about anime some more than... well... Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! There was also Hamtaro, Naruto, Bleach, and Inuyasha. Also... Cowboy Beebop, Tenchi Muyo (First the TV series, then the OVA series), etc. Pretty much a lot of anime I discovered.
Sadly, somewhere halfway in my junior year of High School, my parents would move YET AGAIN. And I would have to change schools. Originally, I was regretting not to reconsider, then again even if I did it wouldn't even matter. But as I adjusted to not only the new place, but also the new school, I got some new friends. I still remember my old friends, as at least one or two of them in the previous high school I went to, prior to the one I moved to, appeared in the city I was living in. I also seen a familiar teacher, which is a coincidence. Eheh... Looks like my past doesn't come back to haunt me, but help me it appeared. So yeah. I, pretty much, adjusted. Though I did have a PC of my own now, during that time, and a laptop. Though, the laptop would eventually go to my youngest brother, Hiro, after I graduated high school, and I get an upgrade. An Acer 4730z, that came with Windows 7. How thoughtful. During that time, I still only had a PS2, and a PC. I still played my PS2, and played on the PC, a lot. I had an alarm clock that also was a radio, at the time, things were going alright, to a point. Eventually, we moved... once again... in a smaller home. Though, I pretty much took some time to stay with my great aunt for a week or two when I felt like it, and I... didn't really have a room for myself. So whenever my brothers needed to sleep, I had to get out of their bedroom. Huh... Oh yeah, also I lost that bunk bed before we moved again. Darn it... It was my favorite bunk bed. >:T
College was something, however. To summarize all that... I chosen the wrong class. I should've chosen the graphic design class, or something. I can't believe I chose programming... Augh...
We did move again, this time back to a town prior, but away from the town. Huh... Oh right. Before we moved, I did get a PlayStation 3. A Super Slim model. It was white, and the controller was white too. but it was still the same console through, and through. But it was during after I moved to this small house on the countryside where I gamed... and did my PC activities a lot more. I was finding what I wanted to do in life, and... well... HERE IT IS! RIGHT IN THE COMFORT OF MY BEDROOM! I even got a TV for myself. Neat. I still had my PS2, kinda. But a lot of things, we lost over the years. Man... I miss that VCR, that matched with my PS2. I should've gotten that instead of Hiro. Oh well. I'm not crying over spilt milk.
During that time, I made videos, some MMD videos too (Which, in my opinion, are terrible or I used someone else's Motion data and audio for meme reasons), played a lot of Mabinogi and Vindictus... Holy crap. o.o, and played more games. Pretty much. This was still going to be me. That is... until we moved again, cause someone got a better... offer to the owner of the house we lived in. So...>/p>
We moved into my great aunt's place. This is where... I become the person I am today. A gamer, living with his great aunt. But that all didn't completely happen until my family and brothers moved out. All of them. To a new place, in a city I get feelings of being watched completely, but near where everything had the tipping point, cause of that incident years and years back.
So here I am... an adult... in my 30s now... Still doing things like I did in my 20s. Huh...
